Anders Broman

Founder

B.S. in Exercise Science and M.S. in Sport and Fitness Administration from Winthrop University

Anders has 9 years of training experience. He has trained many professional basketball players who have or are currently playing in the NBA (including Seth Curry (Dallas Mavericks), Troy Daniels (LA Lakers), Malik Monk (Charlotte Hornets), and Dewan Hernandez (Toronto Raptors)), WNBA, and Euroleague. He has also trained numerous college All-Americans (including Devon Dotson (Kansas University) and Naji Marshall (Xavier University)), McDonald’s High School All-Americans, as well as hundreds of middle school and elementary players. Anders started his Division I college basketball career at South Dakota State University for 2 years and then transferred to Winthrop University where he completed his basketball career. He was a starting guard and captain of the Winthrop team that qualified for the NCAA National Tournament. During his high school career, Anders was a 6-year starter on the varsity team (starting in 7th grade). He currently holds the record for the all-time Minnesota State High School leading scorer, as well as many other state and national high school records.  As a senior, he was named to the PARADE All-American team. 
In addition to attending Winthrop and playing basketball, Anders was involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) all of his collegiate years, with two of those years being named to the FCA Leadership Team. Outside of training others, Anders loves spending time with his wife, Megan, daughter , Myla and together they enjoy outdoor activities, working out, and eating healthy!

Bjorn Broman

Co-Founder

B.S in Exercise Science and M.S. in Sport and Fitness Administration from Winthrop University

Bjorn has 7 years of training experience, which includes working with young kids all the way up to collegiate athletes, Euroleague players, and WNBA/NBA players. The NBA players he has trained include Troy Daniels (LA Lakers), Malik Monk (Charlotte Hornets), Seth Curry (Dallas Mavericks), and Dewan Hernandez (Toronto Raptors). The WNBA players include Tiffany Mitchell (Indiana Fever) and Cierra Burdick (USA 3x3 National team). Some of the top Division I players that Bjorn has trained include Devon Dotson (Kansas University), Naji Marshall (Xavier University), and Quentin Good (Xavier University).
Bjorn attended Winthrop University and played Division I basketball for the men’s basketball program under Pat Kelsey. He started over 100 games and is one of the winningest players in the history of the school. He helped lead Winthrop to the NCAA Tournament during the 2016-17 season and scored 1000 points during his college career. Bjorn is ranked second in the state of Minnesota for most points scored in a boys’ high school career. He holds the most points scored by any player in a single season in not only Minnesota but nationally, and is top 5 in the state for career assists. During his senior season, Bjorn was named a PARADE All American for his outstanding play. 
In addition to attending Winthrop and playing basketball, Bjorn was involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) all four years of college, with two of those years being named to the FCA Leadership Team.

Trained Professionals

Broman Academy has trained countless professional athletes, college athletes, and hundreds of middle and high school athletes. 

Master's Degree

Broman Academy trainers have been trained to the highest degree with many of them earning their Master's Degree in the process. 

Division I Career

Our trainers practice what they preach. Most have played or coached at the collegiate level.
